Which boiler types do your deal with?

With boilers, most will fall into one of the following categories:

  • Combi (Combination) Boilers which possess the ability to generate instant hot water.
  • Regular Boilers which heat water, store it in a header tank located in a loft, which in turn feeds water to a hot water cylinder. Alongside this, your property’s radiators have to maintain a level of water.
  • System Boilers which albeit similar to a regular boiler, only require the boiler itself and cylinder, meaning it takes up less space.

Separate to the different types of operation (described above), the next level of differentiation exists in their fueling. Dependent on your property and local energy grid, it may be powered by gas, oil or LPG. Also, it could be that they are condensing, meaning slightly higher efficiencies.
