What is an underfloor heating manifold and where is it placed?

In dealing with this in two parts, an underfloor heating manifold is a system that helps spread warm water to each of your zones (i.e. room or space you want to be heated). They are the interlink between your pipework and your heat source which distributes water either via a heat pump or your boiler (accompanied by a blending valve).

Where we’d likely position a manifold in your property is somewhere central and accessible, but out of the way for residents. In residential properties, we may look at areas such as cupboards, under the stairs and garages. On the commercial side of things, we’ll review the building requirements.
