A bathroom fit-out with much character [Catford]

We carried out an amazing bathroom installation in Catford where we were blessed to have a lot of space to work with. Having this in mind we were able to deliver some amazing fittings which complimented the remainder of the property giving it a new lease of life and depth.

Location: Catford

Budget: £10,000

Project Start: October 14, 2020

Project Completed: September 29, 2020

  • The first issue we faced was discovering how best can we get the bathroom to match the look and feel of the property. It had recently experienced renovations in other areas, and this was one of the last rooms to be tended to.

When discussing the customer’s requirements they really wanted something which matched the aesthetic of the remainder of the house. With this in mind, we sourced colours and units which complimented what was already in play.

  • Knowing the task at hand, we moved at a steady pace to ensure that the bathroom space was renovated. Our team got to work with removing all pre-existing units, as well as smoothing out all surfaces in preparation for the new flooring, tiles and peripherals we were installing.

One of the key focuses was ensuring the room was bright and allowed as much light as possible to enter the space. We resolved this through the use of large glossed tiles that allowed for light to be reflected, as well as a clear splashback being used for the splashback of the stand-up shower unit. A slightly rustic feel was added through the use of woodblock shelving and a copper coloured towel rail.

    Let there be light
  • Our customer was over the moon with the final product. It was beyond what they imagined and informed us it gave them bragging rights over other bathrooms they’d visited. Happy with what we did, they notified us that we are now their first-choice plumbing company.

We truly loved this project because it allowed our fitters to really use their creativity to devise a lasting solution. Back at our offices, we archived this work because it allowed us to come up with adaptations to our offering to better suit customer need.
